Where to Change Money
Money changers in Bangkok are easy to find throughout the city, some are operated by banks, exchange chains, and independents. ATM machine everywhere, and banks open at convenient hours. So no worry to change money. The maximum withdrawal is 15 to 20,000 baht depending on the banks. If you have a friend with a Thai bank account make a transfer and save the fees.

The no.1 appear to be Superrich Thailand, Green color kiosk. In the business for more than 50 years. Branches at some BTS stations, malls, and at Suvarnabhumi airport (green and orange) at the underground near the entrance of the Rail Link, B level. The Green Open from 06.30 to 22.00. The Orange from 05.30 to 23.00.
Be aware that the brother of Superrich name is Superrich 1965, orange color kiosk. Similar rates. Compare a few of them before deciding to change. I changed at superrich 1965 at Silom road and Gateway, Ekhamai, where I found the best rate. Please compare the rates

Visit Thailand Card
Superrich (1965) unveiled his Visit Thailand payment card, promoting a cashless initiative among travelers. The payment card can be purchased at all Superrich points of sale in the country and can be recharged and used instead of conventional currency in all locations accepting Mastercard. No additional fees for transactions. Cost of the card 150 baht.
ATM are everywhere.
Many ATM machines, in the major streets, BTS and MRT stations, and at major stores and shopping malls. Works with Circus, Maestro, Master Card, and Visa (plus) cards. Thai ATM keypads haven’t lettered, only PIN numerical. 200 baht surcharge for every withdraw, Aeon Bank 150 baht. Choosing an ATM next to a bank in case of a problem it will be easier to solve, the bank staff is very helpful and ready to help you.

I would say use the credit card only for emergencies. Traveler checks and debit cards are better.
