On The Scale of The Best
The no.1 appears to be Superrich Thailand, Green color kiosk. In the business for more than 50 years. Branches at some BTS stations, malls, and at Suvarnabhumi airport (green and orange) at the underground near the entrance of the Rail Link, B level. The Green Open from 06.30 to 22.00. The Orange from 05.30 to 23.00.
Be aware that the brother of Superrich name is Superrich 1965, orange color kiosk. Similar rates. Compare a few of them before deciding to change. I changed at superrich 1965 at Silom road and Gateway, Ekhamai, where I found the best rate. Please compare the rates
VASU Exchange, only one in Bangkok at BTS Nana station. Competitive rates.
Grand Superrich, only 1 change office on Radjdamri Road (opposite Central world, next soi to Big C). Located in the 21,23,25 soi Rajdamri, same area as Superrich, the same rate as its popular neighbors but much less busy. A good address
You can trust SIA Money Exchange, 1091/156-7 Petchburi soi 33, New Petchburi Rd.
Hotels and stores have a lower exchange rate.
Bring some cash, 50 and 100USD/Euro notes, better rates.
Visit Thailand Card
Superrich (1965) unveiled his Visit Thailand payment card, promoting a cashless initiative among travelers. The payment card can be purchased at all Superrich points of sale in the country and can be recharged and used instead of conventional currency in all locations accepting Mastercard. No additional fees for transactions. Cost of the card 150 baht.
ATM are everywhere.
Many ATM machines, in the major streets, BTS and MRT stations, and at major stores and shopping malls. Works with Circus, Maestro, Master Card, and Visa (plus) cards. Thai ATM keypads haven’t lettered, only PIN numerical. 200 baht surcharge for every withdraw, Aeon Bank 150 baht. Choosing an ATM next to a bank in case of a problem it will be easier to solve, the bank staff is very helpful and ready to help you.
Always choose The option charged in local currency.
opening hours 08.30-15.30. Open on weekends in malls and some hypermarkets chains 10-30-19-30
I suggest to use the credit card only for emergencies, debit cards are better.
I hope this will be useful to you in planning your next trip to Bangkok. If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to help you out.
